How do you spell relief from the noise, static and news of day?  As a Pilates teacher, you must know I use good old fashioned sweat, breath and movement.  It may be Pilates one day, Yoga another and inline skating the next.  Sunday I shared the benefit and joy of infused tea and waters with CBD oils, hemp and extracted cannabinoids with a Yoga Class.

Susan is a favorite Yoga Teacher of mine and when I saw the promotion for CBDYoga class at Laurie’s spot, Hair Cult in Hoboken; I jumped to grab a slot.  The event was a fund-raiser in support of EarthMonth2018 with proceeds going to Clean Ocean Action.

Starting at 9:00 Sunday morning the group selected a delightful cup of tea, added a 5mg drop of  Mike and Mark’s @spleef cannabis infused tincture and milled around to enjoy each other and the space.  Susan brought the class together and we used a little @spleef-infused China Gel and moved through a Vinyasa Flow for 90 minutes.

I found myself in stress-less chill for the remainder of the day.  Seriously on chill mode.

The spa itself is beautifully decorated.  The vibe of the space is soothing, comfy, embracing.  The colors and textures of the walls and original tin ceilings provided sleek ambience. Once again, I couldn’t resist catching a few images as you can see.

I will admit, I have been exploring the idea for a movement class with CBD infused products and intend to follow Laurie’s lead as a business woman focused on health, wellness and alternative remedies to support students and clients.  I just love the idea of infused juices and waters to support all that ails and aches and I particularly enjoyed the camaraderie of this group of women working out and appreciating each other’s gifts.  Like-minded souls in action.

I brought my Dharma Yoga Wheel and with Susan’s assistance, executed what felt like the best back bend heart opening wheel (sans the ladder barrel) ever!  I don’t know if it was the tea, the DYW or Susan’s steady ankles I used as a post, but it felt divine.  The morning was delightful and definitely will be a repeat activity.
