Whoa!  Hit the jackpot.  For the past five days, I have had about 16 oz of pure green juice, once a day.  The combo is celery, spinach, kale, cucumber, romaine, parsley.   Now, on the sixth day, the Vitamin C and anti-oxidants are added with apple, lemon and ginger for a slightly sweeter taste.  I didn’t approach the green supplement to my diet as a cleanse, but as a vitamin boost and charge for my batteries during the cold season.  Turns out it feels like the effect of both.  Big winning jackpot!

  • Kale:  Contains more easily absorbed calcium than milk! Kale is high in fiber, rich in Lutein, a major anti-cancer phytochemical, and is one of the best sources of beta-carotene, an antioxidant believed to be a major player in the battle against cancer, heart disease, and certain age-related chronic diseases.
