Stuff To Love

At this writing, so many people are leaving.   We all are only getting older, and since I can now claim Senior Citizen Discounts (at the movies and on the bus) and more than one student has respectfully referred to me as #MsGina, i.e., I have quite a few secrets and life history finds to share. I realized in 2023, that I have been blogging, albeit sporadically, for a long enough time that adding a category about health and wellness products, that I personally love and use, might be a good creative tangent.

They are all a part of my Pilates Lifestyle

Relaxation

Scalp Massager

A scalp massage is the most rejuvenating and relaxing massage you can get. It can lower blood pressure, heart rate and stress hormone levels. Scalp massage also significantly reduces the frequency and intensity of stress-related headaches, as the massage releases tension and promotes relaxation.

TheraIce

Hot and Cold compression sleeve; helps muscle relax naturally, fits like a soothing glove; easy to slip on and can be worn under clothing.

Steam & Spa

If you have access to regular use of a steam room, sauna and pool for water therapy, do NOT mis-use that gift to yourself. If you don’t, find a way and an time to treat yourself, at least once a month.

Travel Tools

Smart Birdy

Premium carry-on luggage designed to empower female travelers worldwide.

PortaWipes

Keep your hands, body, and personal areas cleaner and more hygienic with Portawipes compressed towels designed for the on-the-go lifestyle!

Pangwanglegear

A colorful wrap that repels insects!  I used and loved them in Egypt, Morocco as well as the grass and beaches of New Jersey.
Enjoy understated luxury and the freedom to relax outside, bite-free. Soft + sustainable goods contain insect repellent technology for easy protection and better outdoor living.

Hair

PlantMade

Offering a wide range of hair growth products such as hair oils, hair masks, shampoos, and conditioners; formulated with natural ingredients and are free from harmful chemicals like sulfates, parabens, and silicones.

Scalp Hero Massage

After one use, I swear I would “fight anyone that tried to take this away from me!” ScalpHero stimulates blood flow to the follicles to loosen the area up, which in turn delivers the nourishing nutrients needed to encourage healthy hair growth and to promote strong, thick and shiny hair.

Skin

Face and Facial Healing

Korean Skin Care, Face Masks, Moroccan Aragon Cream

At the end of Blossom’s “Twisting Themed Mat” lot of spiraling, rotation and total body twist and stretching, she noticed my skin and asked about the care regimen.  I am sure my face was flush and skin glowing, from just having gotten off the mat from her absolutely stellar session. It’s not the first time it’s happened. I am usually the older one in the group and I am grateful my skin (I like to think, nor my energy or attitude) is not reflective of my years.

Food Choices

Turkish Yogurt Cake

Would you eat Turkish Yogurt cake for breakfast? It’s simply yogurt, eggs and lemon juice, and absolutely light as a feather and delicious.

Moroccan Orange Loaf

For breakfast with eggs sprinkled with black seed and spices that I purchased at a spice shop in the medina of Marrakech. This cake is no sweeter than an orange marmalade spread on bread.
