It was DAY 10 of #MarchMatness2016 and I found myself, in the middle of the day, at about 3:00pm, completely zonked and out of energy! All the teaching, filming, posting, encouraging students and staying on point with my personal work caused me to stop and take pause. I needed a rest and a nap!
You know, recognizing the message of the body and taking the time to stop and refresh, as in rest pose or child’s pose or a power nap, is the right and smart thing to do. Pilates is about control, focus and concentration and those principles cannot be applied without a refreshed source of energy.
Abdominal Series of Five
Even though the full Series of Five was not listed for #MarchMatness2016, I loved the quick video compilation enough to post it. I know a few of my Beginner students would appreciate a “cliff notes” version reminder of what they can do on their own.
