I don’t get “kitchen-creative” often, however, since I purchased my VitaMix food processor, I have been experimenting and thoroughly enjoying the results. Truly, I must say so myself, this is an absolute killer for the taste buds! I completely doctored a VitaMix recipe to make it even healthier and better, if you think that is possible. The almond meal (my replacement for flour) gives it an absolutely scrumptious, soft, “melt-in- your-mouth” pure goodness. Alas, every person that has tasted it agrees!
A vegan recipe “doctored up” with clean protein, via the egg whites and almonds. I used ambrosia apples to give it a natural sweetness and the cardamon gives it a little extra “umph” in the taste.
