{"id":6725,"date":"2018-03-11T18:46:53","date_gmt":"2018-03-11T18:46:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/?p=6725"},"modified":"2024-01-06T15:06:30","modified_gmt":"2024-01-06T15:06:30","slug":"spring-clean-from-the-inside-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/spring-clean-from-the-inside-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring Clean From the Inside Out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s mid-month March and we are all thinking of clearing and cleaning out the weight and cobwebs of the winter.\u00a0 I spent my Sunday morning preparing a few new #SpringCleaning concoctions.\u00a0 This is a keeper.\u00a0 <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-6727\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180311_112623-01-e1520793328343-547x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"214\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180311_112623-01-e1520793328343-547x1024.jpeg 547w, https:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180311_112623-01-e1520793328343-160x300.jpeg 160w, https:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180311_112623-01-e1520793328343.jpeg 558w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 214px) 100vw, 214px\" \/>Anyone that knows me, knows I have a Green Juice with heavy ginger root addiction.\u00a0 I brew, freeze and regularly drink\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BVST9qwlpHq\/\">veggies<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BTOcxlUlvsF\/\">juices<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/whats-water\/\">green tea.<\/a>\u00a0 I have been for many years and do appreciate the kick of the ginger.\u00a0 Well, adding a tad of cayenne pepper made a difference in the mix. And after my morning stretch of Pilates or yoga and a couple of hard boiled eggs, few slices of turkey bacon and pita bread dipped in olive oil &#8211; yes, a very Mediterranean breakfast &#8211;\u00a0 I love this citrus shot of spice, flavor and goodness.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t usually post food shots, yet I do enjoy sharing healthy secrets and this is one of those keeper concoctions.\u00a0 I am now making this juice in tandem with my green juices and generally make enough in my VitaMix to freeze and store them for the week.<\/p>\n<p>This allows me to keep moving without thought and hesitation.\u00a0 The zing of the citrus juices combined with the ginger is such a sinus clearing, you will feel completely lifted and cleared from the inside out.<\/p>\n<p>I add aloe juice (with the pulp) to simply add to the digestive clearing that I know it provides.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>I do enjoy sharing healthy secrets and this is one of those keeper concoctions.<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-6728\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180311_114632-01-169x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"226\" height=\"400\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2>Spiced Orange Ginger Shot<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 Cups of Orange Juice<\/li>\n<li>2 Limes or Lemons<\/li>\n<li><strong>BIG<\/strong> chunk of Ginger (depending on your taste buds)<\/li>\n<li>1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper Flakes<\/li>\n<li>2 Cups of Aloe Juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Juice it.<br \/>\nDrink Some.<br \/>\nBottle it.<br \/>\nFreeze it.<br \/>\nEnjoy it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[su_spacer size=&#8221;20&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3>Related Posts:<\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<p>[su_posts template=&#8221;templates\/list-loop.php&#8221;
