July was obviously a busy month, as I notice I have had to stop, take a pause to rest, regroup, <strong>recover<\/strong>, refresh my energy more than once in the past 30 days. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s noticeable how full the month has been, as my last blog entry was more than 30 days ago! Uh Oh! I know that if I don&#8217;t have the energy and enthusiasm to delight, excite and inspire my students, they will not get the best of my teaching and I won&#8217;t support them enough to have them feel the best about their own work.<\/p>\n<p>One of the ways I use to escape is to lose myself in nature and the visual, sensory delight it brings. It&#8217;s one reason my apartment is such a complete mess. I drop things at the door, peel off layers and toss them in a corner and keep running out the door &#8211; out and into the open. My attitude is the mess will still be there when I get back. The light, sun and colorful brilliance of the day will be lost in a few precious hours.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes I jump on my inline skates with headphones on and &#8216;dance-skate&#8217; and sing loudly. \u00a0Sometimes I jump on the treadmill and &#8216;rebound-run&#8217; for a good 3 miles and sometimes I just ride as hard and as fast as I can trying to stay out of the way of the strollers out Running\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Yesterday&#8217;s morning teaching ran from 8am to 1pm with only a few minutes in between sessions for the door to close and open.
