{"id":6156,"date":"2016-06-12T11:37:30","date_gmt":"2016-06-12T11:37:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/?p=6156"},"modified":"2016-06-12T11:43:27","modified_gmt":"2016-06-12T11:43:27","slug":"the-freedom-to-move-with-pilates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/the-freedom-to-move-with-pilates\/","title":{"rendered":"The Freedom to Move with Pilates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I will admit, I was feeling exceptionally fierce this particular morning as I began my personal workout. \u00a0I just wanted to <strong>move freely<\/strong> and enjoy the pleasure of a good sweat. \u00a0I had the intention of moving through the studio apparatus with focus and\u00a0attention particularly on\u00a0my legs. \u00a0As such, the Wunda Chair, Orbit and Ladder Barrel, along with a few stability balls on\u00a0my mat were my tools of choice. \u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I started with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Pilates4Fitness.WestNewYork\/videos\/vb.187126174495\/10154238060654496\/\">Wunda Chair and footwork<\/a>, in the classic order, and then moved around the studio with fluid motions using the other selected apparatus, enjoying\u00a0the commonality in the each of the movements &#8211; irrespective of the apparatus.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fLpAE8eijFw?list=PLqjjlh4j6RgSs4GXxR_oPI1Blay8mPOVK&amp;showinfo=0\" width=\"740\" height=\"416\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Telling yourself, or your students, that there are really only three movements to master with your body;\u00a0<strong>Rolling &#8220;C&#8221; Curves<\/strong>, <strong>Rotational Twists<\/strong>\u00a0 or <strong>Lifted\u00a0Extensions<\/strong> of the powerhouse core and spine, doesn&#8217;t <em>make the doing<\/em> any easier. \u00a0Yet, the freedom to\u00a0move and\u00a0roll around in a &#8220;studio gym&#8221;
