{"id":5874,"date":"2016-03-11T13:09:24","date_gmt":"2016-03-11T13:09:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/?p=5874"},"modified":"2024-02-06T15:56:03","modified_gmt":"2024-02-06T15:56:03","slug":"pilates-series-of-five","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pilates4fitness.com\/site\/pilates-series-of-five\/","title":{"rendered":"Pilates Series of Five"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was DAY 10 of #MarchMatness2016 and I found myself, in the middle of the day, at about 3:00pm, completely zonked and out of energy! \u00a0All the teaching, filming, posting, encouraging students and staying on point with my\u00a0personal work caused me to stop and take pause. \u00a0I needed a rest and a nap!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>You know, recognizing the message of the body and taking the time to stop and refresh, as in rest pose or child&#8217;s pose or a <em>power nap<\/em>, is the right and smart thing to do. \u00a0Pilates is about control, focus and concentration\u00a0and those principles cannot be applied\u00a0without a refreshed source of energy.<\/p>\n<h2>Abdominal Series of Five<\/h2>\n<p>Even though the full Series of Five was not listed for\u00a0#MarchMatness2016, I loved the quick video compilation enough to post it. \u00a0I know a few of my Beginner students would appreciate a &#8220;cliff notes&#8221;
