What a blast the month of March has been for Pilates teachers, Pilates lovers and students worldwide!  A glorious way to focus together in preparation, practice and support of each other with a little bit of #PilatesEverday as our collective focus through #MarchMatness2016.

Much love and respect to all for watching, smiling, laughing and inspiring us all through the month. Special thanks to my favorite brother @cwjiphoto, and the #CheerleaderTeacherSquad I am proud to be included as a member with Anula in NY @sixthstreetpilates, Kevin in MI @pilatesdwell, Lisa in Australia @pilatesextension,  Catherine in London @catherinetruscott, Heather in NC @pilatesbabe, Sevda in Turkey @pilateswithsevda, Trey in MI @pilatestrey, Aliza in CA @atozpilates and Juliet in NY @beaconpilates.

“Every day in March, participants across the global Pilates community share their love for the work in a synchronized social media campaign. IT’S NOT A CHALLENGE. IT’S NOT A CONTEST. IT’S A CELEBRATION OF UNIVERSAL PASSION!”
Benjamin Degenhardt

OMGoodness!  This crew kept each other going with constant thumbs up, applause to the mistakes as well as the good moves, back-pats and general support and encouragement of everyone making an effort to teach and share.  There were an endless gazzilion others that created the daily contributions to the month of media over our respective social networks.

Standing applause, praise and warm thanks to Benjamin Degenhardt @benjamindegenhardt for creating the thought and momentum of #MarchMatness.  This is my second year of participation, but it was his third year of “orchestrating” the collaborative effort.

It is an effort that was almost hard to ignore or not participate in as a teacher of the method.  I loved every minute of every bead of sweat.  It was almost like being a little kid back in school with a pop quiz everyday. 💕

I am also especially thankful to Blossom Leilani Crawford @bridgepilates for carrying on Kathy Grant’s work and through which I learned the use of ankle weights was encouraged.  With that ‘aha’ and seeming ‘permission’ I got from her workshop, I challenged myself and used the ankle weights throughout the month.  Thereby, also challenging several of my students to do so as well. #AnkleWeightsRule

Needless to say, we all dug it immensely.  Check out the clip from the First 19 Days of the month as well the last 10 days below.

We don’t stop. Can’t stop.#pilateseveryday
