Three, Seven, Nine and Eleven.  These are magical numbers of the universe. They have been showing up in powerful celebration with me this month across a number of personal and professional areas bringing all sorts of celebratory magic to my awareness this month.

That being said, it is not an easy time in our world at the moment.  I acknowledge that.  I am uncomfortable and somewhat frightened with the politics and dialogue of the current timeframe.  I am not at ease with the natural disasters and calamities occurring worldwide. I have no trust in the words expressed by the “leaders” in the world.

I don’t know if I will be able to spend another three, five or seven years in the space I now occupy as a businesswoman and teacher.  A space I built by hand, whose walls I painted by hand and through doors that I  openly welcome people with an extended hand.  I don’t know if I will want to.  In seven days I turn 60 years old.  I may not have any juice left in me to make it happen for another three, five or seven years!  #JustSayin’

I am excited and thrilled with the markers this month provides for me personally, professionally and emotionally.  It is the beginning of  a host of new cycles for my work with my students, in my studio and in my personal life.  I have been visually acknowledging with celebratatory posts all over social media the work of the people who have trusted me with with bodies, their health and their fitness walk.  I am honored to be counted among the Pilates professionals that are living true to the work of Joseph Pilates and true to the teachings of my teachers, mentors and friends and so very proud to be celebrate the teaching of this wholesome work for seven years.

What I acknowledge today, on the 7th Anniversary of officially opening the doors of the Movement Space, is a great sense of pride for the sweat, breath, tears and work that has occurred inside the studio walls to date.

For every person that walked through the door – whether the class or session was held inside or out – there is a personal story and magical connection that I am proud to have witnessed, touched and assisted in guiding toward a wholesome, healthy goal of movement with Pilates.

Thank you for opening yourself to Pilates movement.  Thank you for trusting me as a teacher.  Thank you for #CelebratingMovement with me.
