The Shop is Open! Its a GRAND OPENING!

The  shop is now open and I am one of the OpenSky Founder’s Club Members!  I am very excited about it!  That ticking clock that was counting down the minutes?  That is what I have been waiting for!

So now all my new students or returning students can get a magic circle and extra long mat directly from my shop and get it all before the new studio opens up in a few weeks.

The Pilates Tools and Stuff that I offer here will only be those things that I have personally tried and recommend for use.  For example, the Auroae Mat features are distinct because

Now the last point is of no consequence to me, but the first three can and could make a big difference for my Pilates students.  Here is why.

The extra length means that your head is on the mat and not the floor or ground as you move thru the flow of the exercises.  The longer length of the mat actually gives one the impression of creater more length and stretch as you lay on it.  This is true for both yoga and pilates, in fact.

The extra thickness of the mat is key for many of the positions/exercises that need a little extra cushion for support, e.g., rolling like a ball, plank pose, etc.

The best part is the focal point icon on the mat.  I am always asking students to lift their gaze up and forward to keep their head and cervical spine aligned.  The focal point icon at the top of the mat is positioned to give a point in space for that concentrated focus and alignment.

So of course, I tested the mat immediately with two clients; female and male.  As you can see, I use the mat for more than just Pilates and Yoga.

You can also see that sometimes the meditation focus is simply ‘rest’ after a kick-ass abdominal crunch on the ball.
