The Movement Space supports the fitness, health and strength needs of a very varied population.  Men and women, young and old and mother's-to-be have been using the studio regularly for their personal work and health.  Stability, centering, balance and control are learned from Pilates Mat and the TRX Suspension straps are used to challenge or intensify these variables for many of the classes held in the studio.

TRX Pre-Natal Fitness workouts were designed to keep mom's-to-be active and moving while the development of their baby continues.  The class uses a multitude of isometric exercises and stretches with/out the TRX, resistance bands and stability balls to create a little glisten, sweat and strength for the women in the group.

Three of the five were captured  during the regular Tuesday evening class, as you can see, moving in unison with squats, lunges and presses and rows to maintain strength and tone of the muscles that will be called upon to hold the baby, diaper bag, stroller and pocketbooks filled with bottles in a number of weeks.

This group is a delight to work with and we can't wait to celebrate the pending birth of the first baby boy!

I posted this video in hopes that it would provide a little inspiration to other women seeking to find the tools, equipment and class that will support them in meeting their fitness goals, whether Pre-, Post-Natal or general management of health, weight and fitness.

There is no question, the TRX, and Pilates-principled movement with the tool, is rocking the studio!
